Well, well! I've been away for a while, haven't I? My PC recently got a OS upgrade and I've been working on recovering all old bookmarked pages (and remembering passwords.) So that's why I haven't posted anything on this site.
But I have some huge news for you all, but I'll save that for last.
First off is that I recently acquired a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet for Christmas and have been fiddling with it since. I must save, I LOVE IT! It was very hard to get used to at first, but after about three days of practice, I think I got it down pretty good, but I will continue to practice, of course!
I have been finalizing character concepts for a while now, and I think I'm finally happy with where all the characters stand, and I am certain that they are final and ready to go!
But last but not least...
THE ARENA 5 STORYBOARD IS DONE. D-O-N-E. DONE
It has taken me over a year to write (360 days to exact), but it's finally done! The word document ended with these numbers...
It's quite the long read, but I will make the final corrections and fixes for the next few days, but I think I got it pretty downpat! 38 chapters (parts) in total! I can only imagine how many pages it's going to be in comic form!
I have also been talking with someone who has connections with someone at Dark Horse Comics... something may be arranged where I can show them Arena 5 (once it's starting to make head way, of course.) Who knows... could Arena 5 end up on shelves? We'll see! ;)
Now, it is time for me to celebrate with my friends, and of course, Joshua; my co-writer. I cannot wait to start drawing this monster out!
Stay tuned!

Drawing Update!
Good morning, afternoon, and evening lovely people of Earth! Welcome to Arena 5!
Today I got some minor drawing updates. I have been fiddling around with a couple of different things, and I'm starting to realize that perhaps I need to step out of my comfort zone with a couple of things, it makes some interesting results! For example...
Hime changed a little bit. Since I could remember, women have always been my weak point when it comes to cartooning. I could never grasp the concept of womanly figures, shapes, curves, etc. But by god, I think I finally got it! (Maybe...) She looks a hell of a lot cuter than she used to, which was what I was going for! Also played with hair styles, like if she were to put her pigtails down, and I'm pretty happy with that as well! I'm going to fiddle with women's figure now, and see what I can do, but I think I finally got the face down. Finally.
But other than that, I've been working with the fellas as well, more importantly, Corey. I swear, he is the one character that has gone through the MOST changes since I started the project. He's had over two overhauls so far!
Corey went through some minor changes. I've noticed that his facial structure looked too similar to Ark, so I changed a couple things. And Corey is looking great too!
But there was one thing about BOTH characters that I noticed... they had no color to them. Hime wore a black shirt, black pants... Corey wore a black hoodie, black pants... this had to change! So I drew out a quick sketch of both of them, and fiddle with colors on Fireworks... and after nearly four hours of mixing colors and frustration. I did it.
You would not believe how happy I was to finally get this done. Needless to say, these two characters have been my main focus for a while, since they desperately needed a makeover, and I think I'm happy with how they stand! Woohoo!
Next up... more storyboarding!

Welcome!
Hello everyone, figured an introduction post would be the best for a first post. I won't go on about myself, I have a complete "About Me" page dedicated to that, so I'm just gonna give you a short summary.
I am Jeremy, and I'm one of the two content creators of JP Comics, the second being my brother, Joshua. I am currently working on a web-comic/graphic novel project called Arena 5 (which I also have a page dedicated to.) This is my first real comic book project, and I'm excited for every step I need to take to get this complete.
The main purpose of this blog is to keep everyone updated on the progress Arena 5 is making, and also general JP Comics updates as well. No meaningless posts and photos, there are going to be real update posts and announcements. I am for sure not going to treat this blog like my tumblr.
So why not also show what progress I have made on Arena 5! The comic is currently in its storyboarding phase, but I am making very steady progress. The sooner this is done, the sooner I can finally start grinding down graphite and getting this thing drawn!
This is what the storyboard's progress looks like right now. I am currently wrapping up Part XV out of... well, even I don't know! However many it takes to finish the story!
Keep posted on this blog, because Arena 5 is far from done, and I will try to post as many updates as possible!
Thanks everyone!
