About Arena 5
Arena 5 did not start like how you see it above, it actually started as a poorly drawn stick figure comic book that I drew in the 6th grade in a lined paper notebook that I worked on when I wasn't paying attention in class (whoops!) The characters were bland and boring with no interesting factors about them, and zero character development, and the story was very dry and boring.
A couple of years ago, I was rummaging through old drawings and school papers when I discovered the original Arena 5 book. Needless to say, it provided a lot of laughs between my brother and I. We joked on how awful of a story it was, and we went on our merry way. But in the back of my mind I said to myself... What if I tried remaking Arena 5?
And so I changed pretty much all the characters except for 4 of them, and gave the existing characters and complete and total overhaul, but however... still sticking (har har) to the stick figure style. This idea was crazy enough to work! But then I abandoned the project...
But now... Arena 5 has turned into something I would have never imagined, and I have developed a solid story, and I gave all the characters an overhaul... again!
Arena 5 is about eight fighters that were hand selected to fight in what the world likes to call... "The Greatest Fighting Event on Earth!" They are teleported to the very well hidden Arena 5 and they are greeted by Jad; Arena 5's owner and are nearly forced to fight in this tournament. Most of the contestants are reluctant to participate, but when Jad tells them they are competing to fight the "Master of Combat" and that they can claim the title to themselves, their minds quickly change.
Arena 5 is packed with over-the-top action and larger than life events, with a very diverse fighting styles. Punches that could take down walls, kicks that could take down the largest of trees, stacks of money that could buy out the largest companies a hundred times over, and attacks that would make the average Joe-Shmoe cry for his momma.
"Good morning, afternoon, and evening beautiful people of Earth, welcome to Arena 5!"
