About Me

About Me

My name is Jeremy, and I am one of the two content creators for JP Comics. I write and draw all of my material, but I of course have a helping hand; my partner in crime, and the second content creator of JP Comics, my brother Joshua.

Ever since I could hold a pencil, I have always had a strong interest in drawing, and over the years, I have come to fall in love with cartoons and comics. I've been creating comics since elementary school, and now age 20, my desire to create comics has not changed one bit.

I am currently working on a web-comic/graphic novel called Arena 5, the project is now currently in its storyboarding phase. I am also in the rough stages of another possible comic.

Other than creating comics, I am also an avid gas mask collector. I have been collecting gas masks for over seven years now, and I have well over 70+ different gas masks in my collection. I am the co-founder of the Gas Mask Collectors' Community (GMCC) group on Facebook, and I am also actively creating gas mask informative videos under the name of FirebirdJP on Youtube.

My Art Style

My art style is very heavily influenced by Japanese manga style, but it has a bit of a Western twist in there as well, but I also have my very goofy side, which is a heavy Western style. A lot of influence comes from the artist of the Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan series games for the Nintendo DS. Cartoons has always been my strong point, I am not afraid to admit that I lack in pretty much every other style of drawing. All of my work starts and mostly finishes traditionally. I am practicing my digital drawing skills, and I hope to improve greatly, as I am planning to release my comics digital style.
